Departing
This series is the start of a new journey in my life, that may include me leaving the state of Connecticut in the future. Before potentially leaving, I wanted to find an excuse to see every part of the state. I mapped out every active and non-active train station across the state and used that as my route to follow. Railroads connect towns together and take you to new places, but can also bring you back home. For each station I’ve been to, I focus on capturing the unique architectural details that separate one towns station from the other. By doing so, I’m hope that people will feel inspired to take a journey of their own and experience the joy of train travel.
